Zero Water Discharge

We have successfully achieved Zero Water Discharge at our manufacturing site, covering both our spirulina aquaculture operations and our water‑extraction process for producing the natural food colorant LINABLUE®.

Through our cultivation expertise and continued investments in advanced water‑treatment infrastructure, we implement water recycling and natural evaporation processes that significantly reduce daily water usage and support sustainable production practices.

This same Zero Water Discharge approach is also implemented at our sister company, Hainan DIC Microalgae Co., Ltd., located in Hainan, China.

Renewable Green Energy Usage

Approximately 50% of the electricity used at our operations is generated from renewable green energy sources in California.*
