Californian Desert

The Earthrise® farm is located in the Sonoran Desert of southeastern California, a remote and exceptionally sunny region far from cities, highways, and airports—where the air remains remarkably clean. Mineral‑rich Colorado River water is carefully pumped through canals to large settling ponds, then filtered before entering the cultivation ponds. In this pristine environment, free from pesticides and herbicides, Earthrise® California‑grown spirulina thrives, yielding more nutrition per acre than any other food source.

The intense desert heat and abundant sunlight, combined with mineral‑rich Colorado River water, make the Earthrise® farm an ideal location for growing spirulina. Our California‑grown spirulina remains 100% pure throughout the entire cultivation process, as we do not use irradiation, chemicals, herbicides, or pesticides. Once harvested, it is dried within seconds to preserve its full nutritional value. Each day, our farm scientists conduct dozens of rigorous quality control tests to ensure that our spirulina not only meets but exceeds international food safety and quality standards.
