Earthrise Nutritionals joins leading trade association in the dietary supplement and funtional food industry.

February 2017 – Earthrise Nutritionals joins the leading trade association of the dietary supplement and functional food industry, Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN). The Council for Responsible Nutrition, founded in 1973, is a Washington, D.C.-based trade association representing 150+ dietary supplement and functional food manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, and companies providing services to those manufacturers and suppliers. CRN companies produce a large portion of the dietary supplements marketed in the United States and globally.

CRN member companies manufacture popular national brands as well as the store brands marketed by major supermarkets, drug stores and discount chains. These products also include those marketed through natural food stores and mainstream direct selling companies. CRN member companies are expected to comply with a host of federal and state regulations governing dietary supplements in the areas of manufacturing, marketing, quality control and safety. CRN supplier and manufacturer member companies also agree to adhere to additional voluntary guidelines as well as to CRN’s Code of Ethics.

Earthrise is excited and proud to be a part of this wonderful organization and looks forward to working with CRN and the other companies within the association. This partnership will enhance both parties as we strive to make the industry better.
