NEW EARTHRISE SPIRULINA IL-4 WELL RECEIVED

IRVINE, CA - February 16, 2006 - Earthrise Nutritionals LLC has reported a very successful launch of its new Spirulina IL-4 product in the fourth quarter of 2005, its first quarter on the market. This important addition to the Earthrise product line was adopted throughout the company's network of brokers and distributors, and it was very well received by retailers.

The double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled study was conducted by a group at the University of California, Davis led by Dr. M. The study showed that Spirulina IL-4 reduces Interleukin-4 (IL-4), the mediator of Immunoglobulin E (IgE) production.
